Baba Farid university nursing journal, a publication of Baba Farid university of health sciences, Faridkot, Punjab (India), is a peer-reviewed online Semiannual journal. The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository.

The University Library & Information System of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, is a unique health sciences library & information system. The University Library has established Health Sciences Library Network (HSLIBNET) for the purposes of sharing health information resources and e-resources consortium for cooperative assess to e-health information resources. HSLIBNET e-journal consortium provides access to quality health e-information resources at the door steps of students, teachers and researchers beyond the constraints of time and place.

•         Information Literacy and Competency Program.

•         Reference of Doctoral Thesis & Dissertations.

•         Various Softwares for the University have been developed like Patient Information system, Employees.

•         The University has established University Centre of Excellence in Research for boosting the research in the field of health sciences.

•         The university has set up a placement cell to facilitate its students in getting job opportunities in their respective fields.

•         The University is going to set up an Intellectual Property Rights(IPR) cell at university in collaboration with Punjab State Council for Science & Technology, Chandigarh very soon. The University has come up with BABA FARID UNIVERSITY NURSING JOURNAL which will help us in sharing new ideas, updates about research activities going on in the field of nursing sciences.

Scope of the Journal : Baba Farid university nursing Journal (BFUNJ) is an official publication of BFUHS, Faridkot,  Punjab, India, which aims to provide a mechanism to share knowledge related to improving nursing  care and promoting the development of good health ; research that is of interest to Nursing.
